Five Creative Valentine's Day Activities For Kids

Make Valentine’s Day a celebration of love the whole family can enjoy. Get creative, bake something sweet, and enjoy playful activities together. Here are five fun activities for kids we love:

  1. Love Bug Craft
Give kids red and pink paper, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners to create their own "love bugs"! They can decorate with stickers, glitter, and hearts to make each bug unique.
  2. Heart Hunt
Hide paper hearts around the house or garden and let your little one go on a "love hunt"! Write sweet messages or fun activities on the hearts, like "Give a hug" or "Do a happy dance," for extra excitement.
  3. Heart-Shaped Snack Making
Let kids use heart-shaped cookie cutters to cut fruit (watermelon, pineapple), sandwiches, or even cheese slices. Arrange them into a love-filled snack platter!
  4. Valentine’s Dance Party
Make a playlist of fun, love-themed songs (like Skidamarink and You Are My Sunshine) and let the little ones dance with scarves, ribbons, or balloons!
  5. Handprint Love Cards
Help kids dip their hands in paint and stamp them onto paper in a heart shape. Write a sweet message inside and gift it to a loved one!
